The old adage is that you can never have two first impressions. While that may be true, I do believe in re-dos. This entire sentence is a re-do. I pressed delete at least four times before I cemented it to type.
Hell, isn't life a series of re-dos. No? Where is that first boyfriend of yours? Exactly RE-DO! And luckily, if you were smart enough, you learned your lesson and did a complete overhaul of that situation.
The reason why I'm here? Simply stated, to write.
With a blog I can practice writing regularly but receive the gratification of "instant publishing." No agents, contracts or reality shows needed. So in May 2009, I constructed this blog. Yes, 2009. You read it correctly. I rolled my own eyes when I saw the date stamp...procrastination at it's finest.
But that's all behind me now and I'm commited to writing in this venue at least weekly. So here I am. "Hello World" (courtesy of a redo)
